Alea Nottingham, one of the city’s premier leisure venues, will be in attendance at this year’s Nottingham Post Sports Awards as the business confirms it is once again in partnership with the event.
The casino, located on Upper Parliament Street, has long been an advocate of the annual affair – which returns on Thursday 31 October – and is back as Event Partner.
And as part of their relationship will benefit from their branding prominently displayed around the East Midlands Conference Centre – the location for this year’s ceremony.
Located in the heart of Nottingham and spread over two stunning floors, Alea Nottingham offers up a wide-range of interactive casino games, including Blackjack, Roulette, Poker, Electronic Roulette and Slots.
Lee Hall is the Casino Manager and was on hand to explain the reasoning behind their recurring involvement.
“Alea Nottingham is delighted to once again be involved in the Nottingham Post Sports Awards,” he said.
“As a successful business in the heart of Nottingham we believe it is vital to support, recognise and applaud the goings on within the local community.
“These awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate Nottingham as the home of both budding and successful sportspeople.”
During the awards evening 15 different categories will be presented to winners, from those competing at the highest level, to those currently starting out on their journey to sporting greatness.
Mr Hall expanded on this by explaining the impact the awards have and how he hopes Alea Nottingham’s involvement will bring a far-reaching boost to the event.
“Alea Nottingham is committed to working with and supporting events which recognise local talent.
“We have had the pleasure of watching these awards become more and more inclusive over the years as people of all ages and abilities are given the praise they deserve.
“We believe that by backing events such as these, Alea Nottingham can play a pivotal part in inspiring the next generation of sporting greats.”
