The Nottingham Post Sports Awards sees the sport and business world come together, as many of the region’s top businesses place their sponsorship behind the event which recognises sporting achievement.
More sponsors are being confirmed for the awards with growing family business, National Maintenance, the latest to be announced.
The business offers a wide range of building and maintenance services, to commercial and domestic properties, including home refurbishments, building work, gas safety and boiler servicing.
The firm have been operating in the Nottingham area since 2009 and are now extending their offering nationwide.
On Thursday 25 October key individuals from the business will be attending the official awards evening as the host sponsors. This means National Maintenance’s support helps to provide the two fantastic hosts of the evening Gail Emms MBE and Mark Clemmit.
The event also stands as an opportunity for sponsors, such as National Maintenance to promote their brand and network with key individuals from the local community.
Hollie Booth is the Office Manager and commented:
“Sponsoring awards such as these puts National Maintenance as a name out there but also shows who we are as people as well as a business.
“We like to support the local community where we can. Sport is one of the things that brings people together no matter what background they have, and people take part in it for all different reasons. It means something to each individual.”
As Hollie briefly mentioned, this is not the company’s first and only sporting partnership and are currently sponsoring one of the city’s under 11’s football teams, Basford United. She explained more:
“Over the past six years we have sponsored local football teams, Nottingham Forest, Nottingham Forest Ladies and Nottingham School of Boxing and this is something we will continue to do to support the local sporting community.”
The nominations for the Nottingham Post Sports Awards will remain open until Friday 24 September before handed over for judging. You can enter via our website.
